Volunteers wanted for research on Menopause Hormone Replacement Therapy & cognition
At Brighton & Sussex Medical School, we are investigating whether Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for menopause benefits memory & thinking (aka cognition), and if this differs in people with a certain gene.
Who we are looking for:
- Females aged 40-60 who are about to start taking HRT (but have not started yet).
- Going through menopause naturally (not because of surgery or medical treatment).
- Have access to a laptop/computer.
- Based anywhere in the UK.
What you would do:
- Complete online questionnaires & cognitive tasks (approx. 1 hour) at three time points: before you start HRT, then again 3 and 9 months later.
- Post us an inner-cheek saliva swab.
