The booking hub has the ability to upgrade a referral from routine to urgent or downgrade a referral from urgent to routine, as they see fit. All referrals are triaged by a clinician to ensure that you are seen in a timely manner.
For patients seeking treatment at hospitals other than the local ones which we refer to routinely, it is the patients responsibility to research alternative providers. We will then do our best to aid this decision.
We cannot routinely refer to private hospitals via the right to choose option. We can only refer to NHS services and it is then down to the relevant team to pass you on at their discretion.
