The Phlebotomists and Health Care Assistant (HCA)

takingbloodThe two phlebotomists, Linda Stanley and Pat Anscombe, and newly appointed health care assistant, Collette Betts, see patients by appointment at various times throughout the day.

If the doctor has asked you to have a blood test please make an appointment at reception. Patients unable to attend surgery can contact the surgery to arrange a visit from the domiciliary phlebotomist.

The HCA sees patients for health checks, spirometry and other health issues.

Please note that the phlebotomists are trained for a specific task but they are not nurses and will not be able to give you health advice during your appointment.
